The Great Hall provides a magnificent and spectacular setting for the Tango Fair and Competition Rounds on the Saturday and Sunday of the Tango Festival. The hall can hold more than 600 people and with its 19th century architecture and enormous windows overlooking the city it is one of the most beautiful and spacious halls of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The hall will hold a milonga and classes throughout the afternoon, a Tango Cafe/Bar, Tango Stands (with tango merchandise, shoes and clothing for sale) and the Competition Rounds, with ample seating for spectators.
We promise you will be enthralled by this magical hall and the tango atmosphere that you will find here over the weekend!
